The gap
Car owners and enthusiasts need a comprehensive vehicle performance and energy tracking tool. Current apps like AutoTrader and Volvo Cars have removed essential data points like energy generation, MPG, and gas tracking, leaving a gap for a dedicated performance monitor.
What people say
“This app used to be great but getting worse each update. Examples: the text is now huge and fills the screen but with less info, just like the in car display. Does volvo think we are all poor of sight? Also info is missing for fuel level. It used to have a bar showing how full the fuel and the battery is, now you just get a mileage figure which depends on how you drove (fast roads/country lanes etc). It doesn't show a good indication on how much fuel is in the car. Very clunky, go back pre v7”
App update removed visual fuel/battery bars, replacing them with a less useful mileage figure
