The gap

Home buyers and renters using Realtor.com and Zillow struggle with unstable map interfaces that reset zoom and position. This disrupts the spatial search process and forces users to repeatedly re-apply filters and re-center their view.

“error 403 doesn't let you look at propertys anymore. and it's 2026 and they still have the app programmed to only let you see two feet off the ground before you get a too far out and it sucks so bad it can't find properties. not sure why you can't zoom all the way out or at leat most of the way out and see everything available from there. that would make searching so much easier for those of us who don't have our exact neighborhood already picked out before we download the app.”

Cannot zoom out on the map to see all available properties in a region, forcing users to already know their exact neighborhood
