The gap

Users want a single household plan for security cameras rather than per-camera subscriptions. Camtro and Nanit use a per-device pricing model that becomes expensive for users with multiple cameras.

What people say

AApp Store (US)1Aug 12, 2026

“It’s ridiculous that we have to pay for a separate subscription for each camera. The cameras themselves are expensive and charging $300 per year per camera for the top plan is highway robbery. I hope Nanit comes to their senses and charges the subscription per household. Coming to the app itself it’s great but the iPad App’s UI and layout is broken in landscape mode. Hope Nanit fixes this.”

Pricing model requires a separate subscription for each camera rather than a single household plan.
